Opening Ceremonies

This Friday night event officially signals the opening of the convention. It gives the chairman an opportunity to brag about the weekend and introduce our guests. In addition, to make up for having to suffer through a speech by our chairman, the event will start with live entertainment from KOBUSHI Taiko.

We first had KOBUSHI Taiko at AnimeFEST while at the Omni at Park West (at 635 and Luna Rd) in about 1995. They have entertained our members at 2 different AnimeFESTs with their excitement and passion for taiko. We are proud to have them back again this year. If you have never seen them you will be amazed!
