We're proud to announce the following confirmed guests:
Ramen and Rice
Anime Music Performers (Violin & Cello)
Sisters Kim and Michelle Kwon live in the California Bay Area, and have been
studying music since childhood. Also lovers of anime and games, they made their
debut as the anime/game music duet "Ramen and Rice" 5 years ago at Fanimecon 2000.
Since then, they have attended Fanimecon every year to play and also made an
appearance at AnimeExpo 2002 in Long Beach. Both college students at Stanford,
Kim (Ramen)has been studying violin for 15 years; and Michelle (Rice)
has been studying cello for 14 years. Together, they arrange their own versions
of anime/game music by ear and present them to the anime/game public to enjoy.
Shinichirô Watanabe
Director/Writer
Director of Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop: Tengoku no
tobira (aka Cowboy Bebop: The Movie), Cowboy Bebop (TV Series), and
Macross Plus. He is also the writer and director for Kid's Story
(The Animatrix: Kid's Story), A Detective Story and writer of the
screenplay of the Cowboy Bebop TV series.
Jennifer Sekiguchi
Voice Actress
Jennifer's really excited to be going to Anime Fest.
She's been lucky enough to have voiced characters in
FLCL (Mamimi), Koi Kaze (Nanoka), Ultra Maniac (Ayu),
Tenho Tenge (Aya), Girls Bravo (Kirie), Snow Fairy
Sugar (Greta), Haibane Renmei (Midori), Cybuster
(Mizuki), Aquarian Age the Movie (Misuzu), and Digi
Charat TV (Gema) as well as other upcoming projects.
You can also hear her in I'm Gonna Be An Angel,
Strawberry Eggs, Hanukyou Maid Team, DearS, Paranoia
Agent, R.O.D. the TV, Leave It To Piyoko, and Jungle
Emperor Leo to name a few. When she has free time she
picks her belly button lint and does plays, although
not at the same time...yet.
Carri Savage
Voice Actress
Carrie Savage is very excited to be comming to Anime Fest!! - Carrie
is a West Coast voice actress who voiced her first characters in anime 3
years ago as "Fuko" in I, My, Me! Strawberry Eggs and "Hina" and
"Eileen the Angel of Destruction" in Dangaizer 3. Since then,
she has voiced many more characters, including "Rakka" in Haibane
Renmei, "Hakufu" in Ikki Tousen, "Nancy Makuhari" in R.O.D.
the TV, and "Maromi" in Paranoia Agent. Some of her other
shows include Stellvia, Melody of Oblivion, Girl's Bravo, Daphne in
the Brilliant Blue, Marmalade Boy, Ultra Maniac, and Texhnolyze.
She also voices characters in such shows as Dear.S, Lunar Legend
Tsukihime, Sakura Wars the Movie, Aguarian Age the Movie, and more.
Try to figure out some of the tiny characters she voices in Rumiko
Takahashi Anthology! She is very exitedly working on a many more
really fun shows and video games that are yet unmentionables.
Carrie also has a heavy background in Theater and is very small time
film actress. Her work with children and adult women in 3rd world countries
such as Africa and the Philippines also keeps her traveling around the
world whenever time and money make it possible. She feels very lucky to
be able to be a part of such projects!
Carrie is so happy to have been able to play such wonderful roles so
far in Anime and is hoping to ve able to voice many more in the future.

Caitlin Glass
Voice Actress
Caitlin is excited to be back at AnimeFest, this time as an official
guest! AnimeFest '04 was her first con experience, so this convention
has many happy memories! A voice actress for almost 2 years now, Caitlin
is best known for her work as Winry Rockbell in Fullmetal Alchemist.
Other roles include Hiyono in Spiral, Triela in Gunslinger
Girl, Natsumi in Kodocha, Takane in Burst Angel
(for which she also sang the dubbed closing theme), Ai in Galaxy
Railways, Erica in Sakura Taisen: Ecole de Paris, Ellen in
Lupin the 3rd: Island of Assasins, and various victims, suspects,
little boys, old ladies and screaming women on Case Closed.
Caitlin holds a Bachelor's Degree in theatre, teaches acting to
children and adults and continues to pursue theatre locally.
Jonathan Klein
ADR Director
Jonathan Klein is the vice-president, co-founder and co-owner of New
Generation Pictures, a company that has been translating, subtitling and
dubbing anime for such major companies as Geneon/Pioneer, Bandai, Urban
Vision, Central Park Media, The Right Stuf and TOKYOPOP. During the last
7 years, New Generation Pictures has worked on over 250 different anime
projects for both U.S. and international release. Jonathan's work has
mainly been as the producer of both English dubbed and subtitled versions
for such anime as R.O.D the TV Series, DearS, Girls Bravo,
Daphne in the Brillant Blue, Mermaid Forest, Koi Kaze,
The Melody of Oblivion, Ikki Tousen, Haibane Renmei,
Licensed By Royalty, Hellsing, Strawberry Eggs,
NieA Under 7, 3x3 Eyes, Starship Girl Yamamoto Yohko,
Amazing Nurse Nanako, and many other titles After directing the
English language versions of Haibane Renmei, Texhnolyze and
Anime Insider Magazine "Best Dub of 2004", Paranoia Agent, he has
just completed directing an upcoming videogame release for Square Enix
as well as several episodes of Rumiko Takahashi Anthology.
Besides his work as an anime dub/sub producer and director, Jonathan's
responsibilities also include scriptwriting and even occasionally working
behind the microphone as a voice actor.

"rkmilholland is probably napping right now. Sometimes, at night,
he dons little shoes with curled toes and a little hat and secretly
aids overworked cobblers. Then he uses their stores to launder money.
He grew up in a little patch of suburban sprawl between Dallas and Ft.
Worth but currently enjoys life in Boston's ghetto. Under a full moon
he sometimes transforms into a meerkat."
Scott McNeil
Voice Actor
Hailing from Vancouver, Canada by way of Brisbane, Australia,
Scott started acting at the age of three and hasn't (his mom would
say) stopped since. Spanning more than a decade, and including
over seventy series, Scott's voice career began with The New
Adventures of He-Man way Back in (gasp!)1989. He is perhaps
best known currently as Duo Maxwell in Gundam Wing, Piccolo
(the first) in Dragonball Z, Dinobot, Rattrap, Waspinator,
and Silverbolt in BeastWars, and Wolverine in the new WB
series X-Men Evolution. Among his other voice credits are
Reboot, Monster Rancher, Mummies Alive,
Ranma 1/2, Kong, The Vision of Escaflowne,
Megaman, WarPlanets, Weird-Oh's, Molly O,
Conan the Adventurer, Extreme Dinosaurs,
DragonTales, D'Myna Leagues, Aagh it's the Mister
Hell Show, Double Dragon, Street Fighter, and
GI Joe.
Johnny Yong Bosch
Voice Actor
Johnny Yong Bosch made his debut as Adam, the Black Ranger on Mighty
Morphin Power Rangers. He appeared in over 200 episodes and both big
screen versions of the series. He ís also known for his voice work as
Vash in Trigun, Kaneda in Akira, Reiji in Gate Keepers,
Claus in Last Exile, Clair in Heat Guy J, Sakaki in
Witch Hunter Robin, Mike in Please Twins and Kiba in
Wolf's Rain. Johnny has recently completed his directorial debut
on a live action horror film called Devon's Ghost with Artist View
Entertainment. Aside from acting and directing Johnny has an alternative
rock band called Eyeshine.
Monica Rial
Voice Actress
Monica Rial is pleased to attend her 4th Animefest! She is proud to
keep Dallas peeps from experiencing Monica withdrawals. She has been
with ADVFilms for 5 years where she has worked on such shows as
Gasaraki, Princess Nine, Steel Angel Kurumi,
Excel Saga, Full Metal Panic!, Noir, Rahxephon,
Angelic Layer, Azumanga Daioh, Megazone, and Aquarian
Age. She is also currently working with Funimation Studios on Kiddy Grade.

Greg Ayers
Voice Actor
Greg Ayres is not your average voice actor. The once “Fanboy” turned VA
started working for ADV Films two years ago, and in that time managed to
snag two of his favorite roles in anime. He was thrilled to voice the role
of his favorite character Son Goku in Saiyuki, then just one year
later Kaworu Nagisa in the Director's Cut of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Other roles include Toga in Gravion, Bomb in BASTOF Syndrome,
Yuya Asou in SuperGals, Mannen in Pretear, and Shinji Kazama
in Full Metal Panic. He can also be heard in other anime titles such
as The Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Steel Angel Kurumi, Those Who Hunt
Elves II, Panyo Panyo DiGi Charat, Dragon Knight Wheels of Time, Oh Super

Mike McFarland
Voice Actor / Voice Director
Mike got his start in anime as one of the first voice actors in Texas to
be hired by FUNimation Productions in 1997. Notable roles include Master
Roshi, Yajirobe, Android #8 and Pui-Pui in Dragon Ball and Dragon
Ball Z, Baby and Baby-Vegeta in Dragon Ball GT, Goemon in
Lupin The Third (Movie Specials), and Ritsu Sohma in Fruits
Basket, Havoc in Fullmetal Alchemist, Leo in Burst Angel,
Bruce J. Speed in Galaxy Railways, as well as various roles in
Yu Yu Hakusho, Blue Gender, Case Closed, Spiral,
Kodocha, Baki The Grappler, and Kiddy Grade.
He has also worked with ADV Films as Meyers in Parasite Dolls, and
with Geneon through New Generation Pictures on ROD The TV series,
Koi Kaze, and Rumiko Takahashi Anthology.
As an ADR/Voice Director, Mike has worked on Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu
Hakusho, Case Closed, Dragon Ball, Galaxy Railways,
as well as Fullmetal Alchemist, as seen on Cartoon Network's Adult
Swim. ADR Scriptwriting credits include Fullmetal Alchemist, Kodocha,
Tenchi Muyo (3rd OVA), and the uncut versions of Dragon Ball Z.
Mike is also an accomplished improv comedian, musician, and has appeared
in numerous commercials and independent films, including The Rage
Within, House Of The Generals, the award-winning Schtickmen,

Jamie McGonnigal
Voice Actor/Director
Jamie McGonnigal lives in New York City and enjoys his careers as Actor,
Director and Producer. He is best known for his work in Weiss Kreuz (Knight
Hunters) as Omi, Takeo in Magic User’s Club, Kazuto in World of Narue and
4Kids’ F-Zero as Zoda. He has also been heard in Tezuka’s Jungle Emperor
Leo, Pokemon, The Gokusen, Patlabor, The Weathering Continent, Arcade Gamer
Fubuki, Kirby, GTO (Live Action), Naru Taru, and many more. He is also
proud to announce that he will be playing a leading role
in a very popular upcoming game for PS2. Jamie has
become well-known in New York City for his work as a producer and director
with his concert productions of Pippin (starring Rosie O’Donnell and Ben
Vereen), Children of Eden (both for The National AIDS Fund), Embrace! 2004
& 2005 (to benefit The Matthew Shepard Foundation), SNOOPY! The Musical,

Kyle Hebert
Voice Actor
Kyle Hebert- Best known as the voice of teen Gohan and the Narrator from
Funimation's dub of Dragonball Z, Kyle's credits also include Yu Yu Hakusho
(Karasu, Okubo), Blue Gender (Seno Miyagi), Fruits Basket (Takei) and
various character roles on the new Adult Swim series, Case Closed. His voice
will also be heard in Dementia 7 Studios' upcoming D7 Nightfall feature. His

movies, and other aspects of fandom. Kyle has also launched a new DVD series,
called The Dub Club, exclusively dedicated to anime dub voice actor interviews.
Robert and Emily DeJesus
Robert DeJesus - Writer, Story Creator, Illustrator,
Story Board Artist, and Character Designer.
Robert is no stranger to the anime and manga
community. An Indiana born, self-taught artist, who
got his first art career break when he sent an eight
page short story to comic publisher, Antarctic Press
in February of 1990. He has drawn manga inspired art
for well over 18 years and has been published nearly
all over the world. He has worked for many companies
like Playstation Magazine, Marvel, Hasbro, and now his
most recent work with Harper Collins Publishing, just
to name a few.
Emily DeJesus - Writer, Editor, Story Creator and
Manager.
Robert and Emily met at a convention called Anime
Central and haven't been apart since that day. Emily
has always enjoyed manga and anime, but never thought
it could be her job. Emily has worked with Robert for
over 6 years now. She helps write the web comic "How
to Loathe Drawing in the Manga Style" and has just
finished writing her first children's book.
She enjoys the business side of working for Studio
Capsule very much and is really grateful to her
husband for giving her a chance.

Xero Reynolds
Artist
Xero Reynolds, (aka Xerjester) is a Houston-based musician, comic
artist, and most recently voice actor who has worked on such projects as
"D7PEACEMAKER::Stage 1" (original DVD score and voices), and who's
voice can be heard in such ADV titles as Moeyo Ken, Jungle Juice,
Elfen Leid, and most recently his recurring role as Masanobu Hojo in
Gantz!
He is also the creator and one-man-circus responsible for the online
fantasy comic Konsekai: Swordwaltzer, which he works on full time
when not distracted by other projects or the inevitable shiny bauble. K:S
is being published by Bohemian Trash Studios, and the first graphic novel

Bruce Lewis
Artist
Bruce Lewis (born Dallas, Texas, 1965) [pseudonym
B-chan] is an American cartoonist, artist, and
author.
Among the first comics artists to bring manga
influences to American comics, Lewis wrote and
drew the Robotech: Invid War Aftermath
(1993-1994) series for Marvel's Malibu/Eternity
Comics line. Since then he has worked with CPM Manga, Academy
Comics and Argo Press. His most recent pure comics work was the comics
novella "Dairooster 5!" and the short story manga "It
Happened in the 7th Grade", both featured in 2002's Juku: A
Comics Album.
An advertising artist and art director for some
fifteen years, Bruce Lewis retired from the advertising field in 2003
to work full-time on drawing and writing about manga and other forms
of cartooning. His forthcoming book on Japanese comics techniques,
Draw Manga: How To Draw Manga In Your Own Unique Style will be
published worldwide in 2005 by Chrysalis / Collins & Brown / Barnes &
Noble Publishing.
Doug Smith
Artist
Doug Smith is an Artist/Voice Actor in the anime industry for Both ADV
and Funimation and has voiced in over 30 ADV titles. Doug is most known
for his role as Kintaro Oe, in "Goldenboy", but you can see his
other works now in Funimation titles like, Case Closed, Grapler Baki

Krista Perry
Webcomic Artist / Fanfic Author
Krista is an artist, author and graphic designer who has been involved in
amateur and professional web-based creations for nearly a decade. Always a
lover of good storytelling, she became involved in writing anime fanfiction
when she discovered that some fantastic stories involving her favorite series
were being published by talented authors on the internet. Her own fanfic
contributions, which have earned some popular and critical success, can be

As AnimeFEST's Fanfic Contest Coordinator, Krista is pleased to help in
AnimeFEST's efforts to bring recognition and appreciation to talented anime

Admission is only available to AnimeFest members. Memberships are
available at the door, but are priced higher than if purchased prior to
the convention. Memberships purchased now are valid though December 31st,
2007 and include admission to AnimeFest 2007. Additionally
the member may also be entitled to attend other AnimeFest sponsored events for
free or at a nominal charge (although these other events are rare).
Due to information privacy laws, children 12 and under may not
register online or by mail. However:
- Children 7 years old and younger may not actually join the club,
however they are admitted free to club functions when accompanied by an
adult member.
- Children ages 8-12 may join the club, but may only register at club
events. Children's memberships are available for only $15. In
addition, a parent or verifiable legal guardian must be present to give
consent to join the club.
- All children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult
at all club functions. Therefore, the adult guardian must also be a
member in order to accompany the minor to most convention functions.
