This year's convention will again be held at the incredible Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion Tower. This year we will have over 30,000 sq ft of additional space!

The silhouette of the downtown hotel and the adjoining Dallas landmark Reunion Tower is recognizable worldwide as the Dallas skyline. Conveniently located near the business, sports, cultural and shopping districts it is in the heart of downtown's historic district adjacent to the West End. Local attractions: Reunion Arena, Dallas Convention Center, Love Field, American Airlines Center and Union Station, all accessible by foot or DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit).

  • NOTE - DART will be on the Sunday schedule for Labor Day.

  • NOTE - The TRE does not run on Sunday or Labor Day (Monday).

    • Centennial Cafe: hours: 6A - 10P; serves breakfast, coffee, and pastries
    • Parrino Oven: hours: generally 5P - 10P but the hours do vary on occasion; serves Italian
    • Antares: hours 11:30A - 2P and 6P - 10:30P; serves American with a Sunday brunch during 10:30A - 2:30P
    • The Dome: hours: 2P - 2A; serves cocktails
    • Monduel's Bar: hours: 4P-2A; serves drinks
    • Coffee Post: hours: 6A - 12P; free for guest of the hotel

    The West End Historic District

    Just blocks away from the Hyatt is the beautiful and exciting West End Historical District. You can either walk or ride the DART light rail to different parts of this Dallas restaraunt / entertainment district. The area is beautifully preserved and has masterfully renovated historical buildings. The West End also provides a host of recreational opportunities such as retail attractions, fascinating museums, exciting nightlife, and a variety of cultural events. Visitors enjoy all of this in one of the most "happening" neighborhoods in Dallas. There is something for everyone and you'll find it along our tree-lined streets and brick sidewalks.

    Full Memberships:

    Valid from date of purchase through Dec 31st 2012. Payment must be made online or postmarked by the due date listed below.

    • $25 through January 31st
    • $30 through March 31st
    • $35 through May 31st
    • $40 through July 31st
    • $45 through August 24th
    • $50 after August 24th and at the door
    • $15 child membership (8-12) at any time

    Available for purchase during the event.

    We Accept Visa and Mastercard

    Admission is only available to AnimeFest members. Memberships are available at the door, but are priced higher than if purchased prior to the convention. Memberships purchased now are valid though December 31st, 2012 and include admission to the annual convention over Labor Day weekend. Additionally the member may also be entitled to attend other AnimeFest sponsored events for free or at a nominal charge (although these other events are rare).

    Due to information privacy laws, children 12 and under may not register online. However:
    • All children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all organization functions. Therefore, the adult guardian must also be a member in order to accompany the minor to most convention functions. This does not need to be their parent. [more info...]
    • Children 7 years old and younger may not actually join the organization, however they are admitted free to organization functions when accompanied by an adult member.
    • Children ages 8-12 may join the organization, but we can only accept payment at AnimeFest events or by mail. You can mail in their registration with at least one (18+) registration who will be acting as their guardian. For the child, all we need is the name they want on the badge, emergency contact info, and what AF member will be acting as their guardian.

    All guests and activities are subject to change. We make every reasonable effort to assure that all activities and guest appearances occur as advertised. However, guests and staff members are subject to illness and unforeseen circumstances and sometimes things don't go as planned.
