Have you ever listened to the commentary tracks on your anime DVDs? Come
hear the live version as voice actor Greg Ayres screens and comments on some
of the newest anime titles that he has working on...make sure to come check
it out and say that you saw it first
- a.) BECK - Mongolian Chop Squad* (TVMA) - Tanaka Yukio, better known by his
nickname Koyuki is a 14 year old who feels disconnected from life in
general. When he saves a crazy looking dog from a crowd a kids, he meets a
guitarist named Ryuusuke, and becomes involved in his new band BECK.
Koyuki's life starts to change as the band struggles towards fame.
- b.) Nerima Daikon Brothers (TV MA)- * Hideki has a dream to build a rock
and roll dome in his hometown of Nerima. Together with his cousin, Mako,
Ichiro, and Pandaikon (a panda he found in his daikon field), they strive to
make money any way they can, and in the process, rid the world of evil-doers
and steal their money. With a little help from a rental guy (Nabeshin) and a
wide variety of weapons rented to them, the Nerima Daikon Brothers sing and
dance their way to victory. This off-beat anime musical is just the latest
creation from Shinichi Watanabe (Excel Saga)
