AnimeFest/GameFest has updated their Press Pass Policy for the 2022 event.

The following are now requirements to request a Press Pass:

1. Minimum Print Circulation of 25,000 or 50,000 followers
2. Provide a copy of the article or a link to the AnimeFest/GameFest Marketing Team

If accepted, Press badges will be available for pick up from the Marketing Office no earlier than noon the first day of the convention.

We understand that some groups may want interviews with the various guests invited by the convention. Out of respect for our guests, all interview requests and interview questions must be approved by each guest. To allow for time for guest approval:

1. Interview requests must list a specific guest or group by name
2. Requests must be received ten weeks prior to the convention. For the 2022 convention, that will be prior to TBD.
3. Once an interview is approved, interview questions must be received six weeks prior to the convention. This allows for translation and guest approval. For the 2022 convention, that will be prior to Friday, June 16, 2023.
