Rooster Teeth's tech director Tony Salvaggio is an expert on Japanese pop culture. Join him as he hosts a panel that shares his personal insights on his own anime fandom and allows YOU to share your own history with anime/manga.
Tony Salvaggio is a writer as well as the Pipeline Technical Director for Rooster Teeth Animation, and an animator and designer in the video games industry. He is co-creator of the manga-influenced series "Psy-Comm" from Tokyopop and the steampunk adventure "Clockwerx" from Humanoids Publishing (both internationally and in the US). As a freelance journalist, Tony has penned the column "Calling Manga Island" for Comicbookresources.com, and has worked on various video game and manga related writing projects. When he isn't playing with his bands Deserts of Mars, and Rise from Fire he is co-hosting the Castle of Horror podcast, and and working on his next big comics writing adventure.
Comic book writer, horror film historian, music journalist , rock promoter, and showman extraordinaire; these are all guises of the creative force known as Drew Edwards. Edwards is best known as the writer and creator of the long-running underground comic, Halloween Man. He is also a contributing writer for Rockabilly Online and through Halloween Man Productions, an active part of the Austin music scene. Each week his voice is been heard by thousands as part of the Castle of Horror Podcast. Bridging horror and comic culture with Austin's music scene, Drew's the event planner, promoter, and host of numerous events Edwards currently lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, musician Jamie Bahr. They happily share a bohemian apartment with a flemmish giant rabbit named Iggy Hop.
