DART

Important DART Announcement:
DART announced their plan for Downtown Dallas Track Improvements. Beginning March 30th through September 2019, DART Rail in Downtown Dallas will be discontinued each weekend to allow track replacement along Pacific Avenue and Bryan Street. DART will replace worn light rail tracks, add and repair crossovers, and repair streets and drainage along the rail corridor.
Track improvements will be made between Pearl/Arts District Station and West End Station. Union Station will not be affected.

While we know many of you may plan on traveling via personal car, we’re sending out this email for those of you who rely on DART not only for the duration of the AnimeFest weekend but in general. Listed below are some options to take advantage of during the AnimeFest weekend. Please note, the DART will complete it's southbound run at Pearl/Arts District Station right next to the Sheraton Dallas.

Five separate shuttle routes will be in operation
  • Two routes stop at every Central Business District station.
  • Three express routes connect Pearl/Arts District Station, Union Station, and Victory Station.
  • Two Local bus routes (932, 934) will stop at every impacted station: Pearl/Arts District, St. Paul, Akard and West End.
  • Three Express routes (931, 933, 935) will connect Pearl/Arts District Station, Union Station, and Victory Station.
  • An additional Express route (936) will connect Mockingbird Station and Bachman Station.

The hotel is located between the Pearl and St. Paul stations on the Red, Blue, and Green lines. Please do not park overnight at DART stations; Your car will be towed. Also note that the trains only run until midnight. If you miss the last train you will need to find another way home or hope you can find a hotel room downtown.

TRE
The TRE ends at Union Station. You will need to transfer to the DART Red, Blue or Green line heading North/East and get off at the Pearl or St Paul station. NOTE - The TRE does not run on Sunday.

DFW TEXRail

DFW warmly welcomes the new 27-mile commuter rail line, TEXRail, with full service arriving and departing from Terminal B. The addition of TEXRail gives our customers another important connection within Dallas Fort Worth, specifically, Tarrant County, and our owner city, Fort Worth.

TEXRail offers a convenient, comfortable, and economical way to get to DFW Airport. It is estimated to have more than 8,000 riders every day with stops at nine rail stations. Trains start in downtown Fort Worth, travel to north Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Grapevine, and to DFW Airport with the final stop at the TEXRail station adjacent to Terminal B.

For the first few weeks of service until February 1, 2019, train rides will be free for customers. After February 1, fees will be $2.50 one way or $5 for an all-day pass. Each day, the first train will leave downtown Fort Worth at 3:30 a.m. and arrive at the Airport before 4:30 a.m. The last train will leave the Airport at 1:00 a.m. Click here for the TEXRail schedule.
