From local to international, amateur to professional, the AnimeFest Art Show is the place to view and purchase anime artwork, sculptures, and jewelry.
We will host several autograph sessions each day to give members a chance to get a keepsake from their favorite celebrities.
We proudly support Carter Blood Care and their efforts to meet the needs of hospitals for blood and plasma donations. Each year we designate a part of the hotel where our members can donate and help save lives.
We collect donated items throughout the year and from vendors at the event to sell for charity. These items are available for direct sale at our tables in the dealers' room or at a live auction held on Sunday evening.
AnimeFest's annual Cosplay events spotlight our Cosplay community and give our attendees to show off their latest costumes and perform skits. Our panel of judges will award prizes for notable costuming work and performances.
Fan Panels and Workshops
Each year we open up a "Call for Panels
" where fans can submit presentations, panel discussions, game-shows, workshops, music performances, and many other creative activities. Our programming team reviews these submissions and curates a collection of these to be hosted in our panel and workshop rooms. Much of our activity programming is created and run by our members.
Fan Video Contest
We celebrate fan creativity by hosting a fan video contest each year. Competitors submit their music or parody videos prior to the convention for judging. We then host a presentation and awards ceremony during the con to show off their work.
Our industry guests including producers, directors, voice actors, artists, and streamers from the industry will host a number of panel discussions and presentations about their work and the industry. This is a great way to get to know the guests and understand what happens behind the scenes in the anime and manga industry.
New for 2019, we are adding a "Library" room. This space is intended to expand in scope in the future, but for 2019 it will be a quiet space. We will have comfortable seating and tables with subtitled anime showing on several screens without audio. This gives members a place to relax, sit, watch anime, and have subdued conversations like you would in a library. No photography will be allowed in this space so that cosplayers have a place to get out of character for a few minutes.
We will have four rooms showing anime 23 hours per day from the time we open on Friday until we close on Monday. This is a great place to relax and catch a show on a large screen with friends.
Our gaming has expanded so much that we've broken it off into it's own event. See our GameFest 2021
page for details. Admission to AnimeFest 2019 and GameFest 2019 is included with all World Fandom Memberships for one price. Both events are being held at the same venue at the same time.
